Each week, your child will sit a ‘CLIC’ test comprised of 10 questioned tailored to their ability. In reality, this isn’t really a test, but more of a weekly rehearsal of key skills. The tests ensure that once children have learnt a concept, they have time to practise and therefore embed the skill or concept.
After they have done the test, their teacher will mark it and give them a target for the week.

As a rough guide, the table below should give you an idea of the CLIC you might be working on. However, please be aware that it is completely normal for children to be working on the CLIC below this schedule and this shouldn’t be a cause for concern.
